1. Who provides the service
Muevt (the app and this site) is an app by Lykode, the name under which Nicola Lupariello, a private individual based in Altamura (BA), Italy, publishes his apps. You can write to hello@lykode.com. By downloading, installing or using Muevt you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the app.
2. What Muevt does
Muevt gathers timetables, stops, routes, notices and ticket outlets of Altamura’s urban public transport, the trains and buses of Ferrovie Appulo Lucane and a selection of the city’s places and events, and makes them easier to consult. It calculates routes, guides you on foot and on board, reminds you of trips and lets you record your journeys with check-in.
3. Free, no ads or purchases
Muevt is free. It has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, free trials, automatic renewals or ads, and it does not sell transport tickets or passes. Should a feature ever become paid, price, duration, renewal and cancellation terms will be clearly stated beforehand, in the store and on this page, and no payment will be made without your explicit confirmation.
4. Who can use it
You can use Muevt if you are at least 14 years old or with a parent’s permission. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
5. Licence to use
We grant you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use Muevt on the devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may not sell, rent, distribute or sublicense the app, nor modify or decompile it, except where expressly permitted by law.
6. Muevt is not the transport operator
Muevt is an independent project: it is not run by the City of Altamura, Autolinee Marino, Ferrovie Appulo Lucane or other operators, and does not represent them. Tickets, passes, fares, service complaints, refunds, lost property and vehicle accessibility concern the operator, whom you must contact directly.
7. Reliability of information
Timetables, stops and notices come from the operators’ official publications and are updated automatically several times a day, but they may contain errors, arrive late or not reflect detours, strikes, delays and last-minute changes. The bus position shown in the app is an estimate based on the timetable, not GPS data from the vehicles. FAL train delays are those published by the operator.
For important journeys always check the operator’s announcements. If you find an error, report it through support: we’ll fix it as soon as possible.
8. Walking routes and navigator
Walking sections are calculated on OpenStreetMap data and may include streets not suitable for everyone, without pavements or not up to date. The navigator’s directions are an aid: always respect road signs, the highway code and staff instructions, pay attention to traffic and don’t look at your phone while crossing or driving.
9. Check-ins, points and achievements
Levels, points and achievements are a personal game that stays on your phone: they have no monetary value, cannot be converted into prizes or discounts and are not compared with other users. Check in only when you actually take the bus; the app applies limits (distance from the stop, trip time, pauses between check-ins, daily maximum) to keep it honest.
10. Proper use
- Don’t use the app or the site for unlawful purposes or to send offensive, false or defamatory content or automated messages.
- Don’t try to mass-extract data from the app, bypass its controls, overload it or compromise its security.
- In reports, write information you have checked and don’t include other people’s personal data.
11. Your reports
The reports and ideas you send us help improve Muevt. By sending them you allow us to use them, free of charge, to correct data or improve the app, without mentioning your name. Personal information remains yours and is handled as described in the privacy policy.
12. Intellectual property
Muevt’s name, logo, texts, graphics, code and design belong to Nicola Lupariello, who publishes them under the name Lykode. Timetables, stops and notices are data published by the operators. Maps and streets are © OpenStreetMap contributors; house numbers, photos of places, fonts, icons and open source components are used under their licenses, listed on the Licenses page. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the services.
13. Third-party content and links
Muevt contains links to notices, ticket offices, place cards, events and other third-party sites. We don’t control those sites and are not responsible for their content, services or data processing.
14. Availability, updates and termination
We may update Muevt, change or remove features, or suspend the service, even without notice when needed for security reasons or causes beyond our control. Features that use internet also depend on third-party services. You can stop using Muevt at any time: delete your data from Settings › Reset app and uninstall it.
15. Liability
Muevt is provided free of charge and «as is». To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed connections, delays, fines, expenses or other indirect damages arising from the use of the information or the inability to use the app. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and in no way limits the rights that the Italian Consumer Code and other laws grant to those who use the app as consumers.
16. App Store and Google Play
If you downloaded Muevt from the App Store, these terms are between you and Nicola Lupariello, not Apple, which is not responsible for the app, its maintenance or support. In case of conflict, for matters concerning the store Apple’s standard terms (EULA) or Google Play’s also apply. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
17. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when the app changes or when the law requires it; the date at the top shows the latest version. If the change is significant, we announce it on the What’s new page and in the app before it takes effect. By continuing to use Muevt after the update you accept the new version.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any problem, write to us first at hello@lykode.com: we’ll try to solve it together. If you use Muevt as a consumer, the court of the place where you live has jurisdiction and you may also use the alternative dispute resolution tools provided by law.
